David Wold

DAVID WOLD is a Teacher, Church Musician, Performer, and Concert Promoter/Producer in the Seacoast, NH area.

David Wold is Producer and Executive Director of Great Bay Philharmonic Orchestra (GBPO). An all-professional regional orchestra in the northeastern United States, GBPO debuted at the Music Hall Historic Theater in Portsmouth, NH under the direction of Music Director, David Upham, in 2018. GBPO will have its second performance on September 28th with Virtuoso Violin Soloist and Avery Fisher Prize recipient SIMONE PORTER performing the sublime Beethoven Violin Concerto in D and the second half of the program will feature Beethoven’s jubilant Symphony No 7. David has taught organ with the Young Organist Collaborative, since 2010; and piano through his private studio, since 1991.

David was recently appointed full time organist at St Theresa Church in Rye Beach, NH. He was Organist and Accompanist at the Rye Congregational Church (RCC) since 2003, a position he held concurrently with being part-time staff organist at St. Theresa Church, since 2012.

Working with the church, David Wold was the Founder and Artistic Director of the Abendmusik Fine Arts Concert Series, which RCC hosted for ten years.

David is the Executive Director of Rye Summer Piano Intensive, LLC, now in its 9th year– A Summer Day Camp for Piano Students ages 9 -17. For more information go to Summer Intensive

David holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music with concentration in Organ Performance from the University of New Hampshire where he studied classical pipe organ with John Skelton.


Mary Towse-Beck

Pianist Mary Towse-Beck has performed throughout Europe, Australia and the United States and is equally at home as a soloist and a collaborative artist. Recent achievements include appearing in chamber and solo performances with the Portsmouth Symphony, concerts throughout New England, and a solo performance at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York.

Mary received her Masters and Bachelors of Music from Indiana University and also studied at Eastman School of Music as an undergraduate. She received instruction and coaching from many renowned teachers including Jerome Rose, Rebecca Penneys,Edward Auer Norma Fisher, Gyorgy Sebok, Janos Starker and Josef Gingold.

After living in England for nearly twenty years, Mary returned to the US in 2007 and now resides in New Hampshire. She maintains a large teaching studio in her home in Kensington, NH, and continues to perform chamber music and solo recitals.

The last two summers, Audrey had the pleasure of working as an intern at the Rye Summer Piano Intensive where she worked with a fantastic set of professionals and met an amazing group of budding musicians. She looks forward to joining them again!


Paul Dykstra

PAUL DYKSTRA has performed in many venues in Canada, the United States, South America, and Europe. Highly regarded as both a Concert Pianist and Instructor, Mr. Dykstra is on the College of Examiners of the Royal Conservatory of Music (Toronto, Canada) and its sister program, The Achievement Program-Carnegie Hall in the United States.

His training began in Edmonton, Alberta, and at the University of Alberta with Helmut Brauss, a student of Edwin Fischer. Studies at Shawnigan Lake Summer school of the Arts and at the Banff Center included time with Gyorgy Sebok, Anton Kuerti, Abbey Simon, and many others.

He has performed the Beethoven Fourth and the Bach D Minor Concertos with orchestras in Canada, and toured as chamber pianist, soloist, duo pianist, and as part of vocal/piano collaborations in Canada and the US.

Paul has recorded new music by American composers, available on the Parma Recordings label. He has recorded "Blues for New Orleans" and a Clarinet Sonata by New Hampshire composer, Roger Rudenstein, with Richard Stoltzman, and with Kirk Trevor and the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra. He has also performed with the Granite State Symphony and as a featured performer for the Walker Lecture Series in Concord, in addition to dedicated Classical Music concerts at the Music Hall in Portsmouth, NH.

Mr. Dykstra teaches privately at his studio in Portsmouth, NH, and is a member of the Faculties of the Concord Community Music School, and St. Paul's School in Concord. He performs extensively throughout New England, including for concert series such as Musicians of Wall St, Abendmusik Fine Arts Concert Series, The Jean C. Wilson Concert Series (Newburyport), the Sant Bani Chamber Music Series (Lakes Region, NH), E.J. Buck and Sons Feature Concerts in Lowell, MA, and has performed Porgy and Bess with Live Arts NYC in the United States and Trinidad.
